Zedoary (Curcuma zedoaria )(Not to be confused with the similar looking mango turmeric and katuri (musk) turmeric!!) is a south Asian herb from the turmeric family. Its taste and aroma are similar to regular turmeric but it is used more commonly to cure stomach ailments, insect bites and inflamation. It is also powdered and used in foods similar to turmeric. The flowers are beautiful and the plants are large, virgorous and ornamental.
