Yellow Mexican sunflower is an amazing plant that is a must-have for every garden and farm. The plants are fast-growing, pest and disease-resistant, and tolerate poor soils, drought, and high temperatures. As if that wasn't enough, they produce large and bright, sunflower-type yellow blossoms. These blossoms are excellent to put in vases and have an amazing smell of butter and brown sugar (just like cookie dough!) The leaves are equally amazing in their own right, and are useful as a biofertilizer. Nutritionally the leaves contain the same NPK value as manure and are this used to fertilize other plants, or simply improve the soil their are planted in.
