Red Robin is a stunning and unique variety of tomato. It is classified as a microdwarf, which means it only grows to a height of 6 inch/ 1 foot. Despite its short height it produces and abundance of 2cm, super sweet cherry tomatoes.
 
Microdwarf tomatoes were bred to be ideal for container gardening. They can be grown in containers as small as 4 inch wide, and do excellent indoors when placed on windowsills. (this allows them to be grown in seasons that are otherwise too hot/ cold/ dry/ rainy for tomato cultivation.) Microdwaves can also be grown in the ground, serving as an excellent intercrop in tiny spots between other plants.
