A rare heirloom basil from Thailand, with a semi-dwarf growth habit. It is sometimes confused as being the same as the more common lemon basil, but its fragrance is very distinct, with a zestier and sweeter, kaffir lime smell. Can be used to make chutneys, and teas, or even as a lime zest replacement in deserts. Pairs very well with Thai cuisine and can be used in place of kaffir lime leaves. Bees love this prolific bloomer, and it helps attract pollinators to urban spaces. Its small size makes it ideal for container gardening or to grow as a compact and effective companion crop.
