A relative of the common tamarillo (tree-tomato) this variety has a much more fruity, berry-like flavor. The most amazing fact of this variety is that the flavor of the fruits changes as the tree gets older, and reported the fruit gets tastier and sweeter with each new cluster that ripens. The flowers are favorite of bees and the leaves have a strong scent that can repel pests and animals. Good for container growing as well
