Resina calendula is renowned as the variety of calendula with the most potent medicinal properties. The name resina is in relation to the medicinal resins produced on the outside of the plant. This resin is a natural defense mechanism to protect flowers and leaves from pests and predators but is also rich in medicinal compounds that have a huge variety of benefits for humans. Calendula flowers can be eaten raw, brewed into teas, or even used as a saffron substitute. Although this variety is only scheduled for seed multiplication in winter 2023, we are making a just few packets available for those of you who have been trying to find this rare variety for a while. :)
