Our absolute favorite fruit ever, cape gooseberry is insanely delicious but hard to find and very expensive. With a unique taste that is sometimes described as a mix of pineapple, citrus, and mango, cape gooseberries are very hardy and productive, perennial plants. They are perfectly suited for both in-ground and container cultivation. Fruits ripen on the plant on a staggered basis and can provide an excellent garden snack over a long period.
