10 fingers of Naples is a san-marzano type heirloom tomato from the Naples region of italy.  Its name comes from the finger-shaped fruits that are borne in bunches of 3-5 fruit each, and give the impression of a hand. The rich, deep red flesh of this variety is packed full of flavor and is ideal for cooking into sauces and gravies. The fruit size is smaller than the regular san marzano tomato, but the plants are wildly productive. The flavor is also more densely packed in these fruits. This variety is excellent for container gardening.
